Good Morning Sunshine.

The sun is such and amazing wake up call. I've been doing some things with my room to get ready for school.. Throwing away old stuff, donating more clothes I don't wear and priming my walls. I used to have pictures literally covering every inch of my walls and when I took them all down my walls looked really bad, so I painted them white and one of my friends is doing a mural for me on the longest wall. But I took down my curtains when I painted and this morning I woke up to the sun and the california breeze floating through my french doors. Today's going to be an amazing day.

My friend is building his portfolio and got together a group of designers, make up artists and models from model mayhem. He also asked my friend Myla and I to model. It wasn't a big deal.. and I am nooo model but it was a lot of fun to get make up and body paint done..

Memories of lingering pasts
float and gather altitude

I have fallen from the scene and

At times I'd tune back into life
to meet hopeful governor, Deeds
or Luci B. Johnson
Somewhere in between track 1 & 2
I would explore Black Woman United for Action
and play tourist with
Miss Black USA and catch up with
a best friend of 10 yeas.
On the last track I remembered
my family and that home is where they are.
I remembered the beach and my "soon to be.."
I remember my girls and the reality of less
than ten days left with the majority of them.

I don't dance at Hamilton anymore but most of my close friends still do. So I decided that it was only right to support them for the whole weekend. I worked all three shows. Sasha's dance was the only thing that I got to see three times. I got to see Brittany's solo on the last night and I watched Kaya & Nef's solos backstage. I also loved Brooke's piece and Seppy's Solo. Everybody worked it out. Everything was gorgeous from when i wasn't running around trying to find somebody's jazz pants or help copy and hand out 500 programs. I'm so glad I was there to see it!
